ECHOSEX 2 is the Gurus Amps Reissue of the legendary BINSON ECHOREC the notorious Echo unit world-wide known and brought to celebrity by artists like Pink Floyd which became its embodiment. This is not just a re-run. We decided to make our up-to-date interpretation without affecting its features but fixing, thanks to the modern technologies, some limits of the original machine.

From Teletronix LA2 Tube Optical compressor/limiter to his son Urei1176 we took inspiration to bring them to present and fix some of the most known “issues” on guitar/bass use. The Optivalve is a Pure Analog Tube-Photooptical compressor pedal, powered by a 12AU7 Tube with our own designed circuit.Not a Clone, not a copy, it’s something born after many years of collaboration with some of greatest artists on the scenes focusing on instrument use.It can work as a normal compressor, as an enhancer of your tone, as a limiter as well, to increase clean volume and headroom from your amp without crunch its input, to let your pedalboard sounds the most truly possible.
